How do I clip a Twitch VOD?
Paste the Twitch VOD link into OptimusClips and it downloads the recording, watches it, and returns vertical clips with captions. No Twitch account connection is needed and nothing is installed.

Copy the VOD link
Open the VOD on Twitch and copy the URL from the address bar. A twitch.tv/videos/ link is what you want. You do not need to be the streamer, but you do need the rights to the footage you are clipping.

Paste it into OptimusClips
Sign in and paste the link into the box on the dashboard. It auto-detects that it is a Twitch URL, so there is nothing to select.

Optionally trim and steer it
Use the source-trim slider to select only part of a long VOD, which also reduces what you are charged. You can add a prompt describing the kind of moment you want, such as funny reactions rather than gameplay.

Press Generate. The model watches the footage rather than skimming a transcript, so expect roughly the runtime of the selected span plus some overhead. You can close the tab; there is an email when the clips are ready.

Live streams and streams still recording
You can also paste a link to a Twitch stream that is currently live. Rather than waiting for the VOD, OptimusClips pulls a range from what is already reachable in the recording and clips that, so you can cut a moment while the stream is still going.
